Contact Properties Reference

Full reference of the contact properties in HubSpot: field type, usage, fill rate, requirement and available options.

In the table below, you’ll find a detailed overview of all contact fields, along with their configurations and usage guidelines:

  • Field Name: The name of each property in the contact object.
  • Field Type: This refers to the format or structure of data that a property (field) can hold like Single-line text, multi-line text, Dropdown select, Multiple checkboxes, Radio select, Number, Date picker, Datetime, Boolean (true/false), File, HubSpot user, Calculation, Score.
  • Field Usage: Shows how frequently each field has been used, helping inform decisions on whether to keep, remove, or update it.
  • Field Fill Rate: Field fill rate in HubSpot (or any CRM) refers to the percentage of records (contacts, companies, deals, etc.) that have a specific property (field) filled in.
  • Field Requirement: Defines whether the kept field is Required, Optional, or Conditionally Required based on business rules or processes.
  • Field Options: The available options or values for each field.
  • Field Action: Indicates how each field should be handled in HubSpot — whether it should be kept, removed, archived, edited, or merged.
