Overview of the Televic Conference verticals, their old and new names and the definition of each.

The table below maps the old vertical names to the new names used across all platforms, with a definition of each vertical.

  • Definitions: All public or semi-public organizations other than type 1, 2 and 3 in need of conference equipment for moderated meetings. Examples: Ministries, Government Administrations, Union Organizations, Fire or Police Departments, Military Organizations Aviation Organizations, …

  • Old Verticals Names: City Council
  • Definitions: This vertical ranges from small city councils to councils representing large metropolitan agglomerations. Larger city councils typically use voting and agenda management. Due to local law, many city councils want to have AV reports of council meetings.

  • Definitions: National and regional parliaments. These customers usually need voting for their main room. Besides the main room, they usually have multiple commission rooms, in which often discussion only solutions are used.

  • Definitions: Rental companies provide conference equipment for temporary events. Either they manage the event by themselves or dry hire the equipment to other rentals.
