Lead Qualification Flowchart

The end-to-end lead qualification flow from contact creation to closed won, including lead stages and deal stages.

This article holds the visual flowchart of the Televic Conference lead qualification process: how a contact record is created, how ownership is assigned, how a contact moves from lead to MQL to SQL to opportunity, and which lead stage applies at each step.

The flow in words

  1. Contact record created — from an online source (email marketing, paid or organic search, paid or organic social, referral, direct) or an offline source.
  2. Does the contact already exist? If yes, the existing record is updated. If no, a new contact is created.
  3. Does the contact have an owner? If not, ownership is rotated based on country.
  4. Marketing qualified? The contact becomes an MQL through marketing nurture or by reaching a marketing threshold; if it is disqualified it is set aside.
  5. Sales qualified? A form submission, booked meeting or warm event lead makes it an SQL and a task is created for sales. If a distributor is involved, sales should always reach out to them first.
  6. Lead stages: New (assigned but not yet contacted) → Attempting (reached out, not yet connected) → Connected (email reply, call or meeting held) → Qualified (deal created) or Disqualified.
  7. Deal stages: Opportunity identified → Requirements gathering → Offer sent → Final negotiation → Closing → Closed won / Closed lost.
